Active Life's Golden Rules
We want you to have a fun session, but also please note the following:
- Do not eat at least 2 hours before the session starts
- Drink plenty of water before, during and after each session
- Avoid alcoholic drinks, drugs or any stimulant for 8 hours prior to each session
- Wear suitable and comfortable clothing and footwear
- Arrive at the session on time
- Always warm up properly (especially if you are late), to ensure your body (muscles, tendons etc.) and mind are prepared for the activity ahead. This is important! Also, always cool down and stretch properly when the session finishes or you decide to leave
- Keep your movements smooth and controlled and avoid locking out your arm and leg joints.
- Take all your belongings away with you when leaving, including any rubbish (water bottles, fruits, sweet wrappers etc.), and avoid chewing gum during the session.
- Ensure that any children you bring with you are well-behaved, reasonably quiet and are at the side of the hall wall for the duration of the session. This is important to avoid distraction to other attendees!
- Please do not compete. Know your own limits, enjoy your session and remember to smile!!!
